Implementation of ISO 9000 quality system in an organization can be done in various phases. Depending upon the size of the organization, complexity of the processes, existing level of quality management system and culture, the company implementation time, in general, may vary from 12 to 18 months.

 

A five-phase fifteen-step implementation plan is suggested by the author. The five phases are as below:
